Soo Sweet Coming Poem by Barima Basoah

Soo Sweet Coming

I come to my sweetheart,
I come in my hands,
all for you my time and heart,
to love you today and always,
to love you from the inside out.

I come with sweet talks,
sugar-coated words sweet like honey,
that your itching ears yearn to hear,
the "once upon a time, there lived lovebirds",
to end the adventures in your dreams.

I come by sweet moves,
I whisper the right words,
from behind striking your chords,
cruise you on a crazy drive,
just to turn things in your mind.

I come through sweet play,
get wet watering the garden,
honk like the ice cream seller calling,
mould with magical touches,
like the potter's hand to his clay.

I come for sweet dance,
let's hit the beat,
let's raise the tune,
let's catch the rhythm,
let's wax, swing, rock and roll.

I come in sweet fall,
I have found my grave,
where man can rest with great joy,
just push me into it,
and bury me in sweet eternity.
