Sorrow Poem by Gbeti gaius Kafui

Sorrow

The wind just didnt blow.
It also carried away my love and kept me below.
No one to call mother.
Among my plight that is the only thing that seems to matter.
The rain came and my hut dancing on the angry flood.
A great day of loss and there was no water nor food.
Helps here and there but my family seems finished.
The angry flood washed away my hope.
There was nothing i could do but to cope.
My aspirations seems shuttered.
No one to lean on, faith was naturally mastered.
Thanks to the lord that was not my end.
Because my future seems bend.
