Sorry Poem by Elliot Ikilei

Sorry

I'm sorry Lady.

For wat I've released,
For wat I've cast aside like refuse.

I miss you now, in the quiet rain,
Each dropp a pearl of pain,
Each fall a fall from grace.

I miss you now,
In the dead of night,
A whispered word,
Love and life combined.

Im sorry for all I've done,
And all I haven’t,
For all the pain I've gifted you,
And rejection that you never deserved,
And emptiness you were given in return.

You deserve to reap what you've sown,
A harvest of sunflowers and strawberries,
Of lilies, of bright, happy daisies,
But not roses, with rich red ruin,
Prophetic in the blood torn through thorn,
And stained with innocent pain.

You are so loved by all,
A testimony of the Lord of heaven,
You will reap what you have sown,
You will be with he who will love you,
I am a flickering tea lite in the wind,
And you are a beautiful pool of water,
May God Himself select one to be worthy of you.
