Nothing makes up for what I didn't do,
Noting demonstrates what you meant to me,
I can't explain to you why I lied,
You wouldn't comprehend the pain I feel inside,
I never meant to hurt you,
My mind was just too lost,
I'm not the only one who lied to you,
But I am the one who tried to make this last
Our friend set all of it up
Our friend gave all our work up
If you would've trusted the things I needed to say,
Maybe our feelings wouldn't have departed away.
Think about this as you read,
I remember you saying I'm all you need,
I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth,
I'm sorry I played their game in order for me to seek revenge
You were a factor of their plan,
but to me you were a strong boy becoming a strong man.
