Soul Poem by James Casey

Soul

Rating: 4.8

Soul

The image in my head. Never fading.
Loosing my soul. Always waiting.

I left it there. It's gone forever.
This could be my greatest endeavor

In the streets it calls my name.
In the air it feels my shame.

Leaves fall, the trees are crying.
The flower wilts, the memory dying.

Children play in my shadow. The walls stand tall.
Those walls never fall, they never fall.

Dear god, they never fall and I am empty.
This is my soul.come and get me
