Sounds Good Poem by linda kunna

Sounds Good

Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Yeah...thats what they say
But what no one speaks of
Is the fondness they refer to
Is really pain
Absence is loniness
Saddness and abandonment
From the one you love
When your heart grows fonder...
Why is it always accompanied by tears?
A ever ending waterfall of 'growing fonder'
But they gotta make it sound good right?
To make the loniness more bearable
But there is no need to do that
For if you are to grow fonder
Then let your heart confront the pain head on
Feel it dont fight it or bury it
But thats just me...
My painful truth
Everyone else just tries to make it sound good
