Space Cadet
I miss you
Far away
Fighting wars that aren’t your own
Saving lives you do not know
You could be a world away
And it would be the same
Floating in space where my heart can’t reach
My soldier, my cadet,
Journeying to distant lands
Like distant galaxies
I miss you
I love you.
Come home
Be safe,
Be near.
