Spangled With Pink Poem by richard ilnicki

Spangled With Pink

Spangled with pink
by the blue sky's dropping
of fantasy. I'm cornered
like a starved rat
who has been keeping
his eye on the cheese
between my legs.

Spangled by pink
passionate clouds and thighs
divided by wind chimes
condescend
to usher in her love.

It comes in
then out of her

spangled with pink
on the wings of ephemera
caught forever
in the unforgiving mouth
of salacious snapdragon.
