Speaking In The Third Person Poem by Bryan Corbett

Speaking In The Third Person

Bryan doesn't like people
that speak in the third person
Bryan thinks it's obnoxious,
self-important, and
egotistical

Bryan wishes you'd stop
Bryan thinks you sound foolish
Bryan wonders why you think you're so special
Bryan is confused

Bryan loves the sound of his own voice
Bryan thinks he sounds smart
Bryan thinks that you think he sounds smart, too
In fact, Bryan is sure of it

Bryan wishes you'd stop
Bryan is trying to stop himself
Bryan may, someday
Bryan may not, too

but not today
