Speechless
Oh silly tree! ! !
Why did you tell
my secrets
to the wind?
Oh well! ! !
I trusted you
For two score plus ten
Now you are speechless
And can't defend
The wind has spread
My words afar
And left me
With a visible scar
Oh silly tree
Why did you
Tell my secrets
to the wind?
Who has blew
them in the air,
and now has spread
them far and near.
Oh silly tree! ! !
