Spin Poem by ana orozco

Spin

I was sitting out in gateway
Watching hummingbirds outside,
My friend came out onto the porch
And said “you wanna go for a ride? ”
I responded with a nod
And bid the birds goodbye,
Although secretly I wanted
To watch them in the sky.
The whole time I was riding,
I couldn’t help but think
Of how beautiful this world can be
No matter of the struggles,
those are gone within the weak.
This world may be beautiful
But so lonely it has gotten,
All of the essentials
Have merely been forgotten.
How can we make the most of something,
With so little inspiration
It’s called hard work for a reason,
It needs some dedication.
but the humming birds they reminded me
of something as good as winning,
we need to keep on living life
so the world can keep on spinning

The birds flutter so fast that look like their whirling. Magnificent creatures enriching the beauty of nature. Excellent poem, your thought are in the right place.
