Spirit Of The Wind Poem by Duncan Stephen

Spirit Of The Wind

Thank you Mother Earth
For the breath I feel from your mouth
As it passes round the world
Through my body
Giving me thoughts of tranquillity

It relaxes me
Sends tingles through my body
Enriching my thoughts
Sending me to sleep
As if I were a baby
Being rocked in my mother's arm
Sleeping soundly as your spirit passes through me

I think of your breath
Touching my family as I grew up
Spirit of the Wind protect my family
As you protected mine as I grew up
