Spirit Song Poem by douglas lewis

Spirit Song

When the shadow of the crow
Through the totem sailed,
The wings
Of wood
Of raven, shifted,
Fluttered on the pole.
Slight fractures in the cedar,
The gift of spirit flight.
It set the totem singing.
