The Calm Before The Storm Poem by douglas lewis

The Calm Before The Storm

Rating: 4.5

Like a temperamental cloud
In puffs of steamy white
And strikes of grumbling grey,
the seagull waddles
Into the water.
Enters,
And waves a smooth transition.
He bathes in floating images.
Then in clap
And rain of feathers,
His cloud
Has thundered home.
