Splash Of Sunhine Poem by Teddy temple

Splash Of Sunhine

Rating: 5.0

Lonely by the lake shore
So calm, quiet and the tides low
Staring at the horizon
Picturing if it would be a friendship zone

In this desert of love
A lonely heart is all i have
A little splash of sunshine
Will make me feel fine

At midnight, when it is scary
My heart also weary
This splash, like midnight sun
Makes me feel like am a king's son

Splash of sunshine
Precious like goldmine
My companion when am all alone
My hope when all is lost and everybody is gone

I really like the near rhyme in this: alone/gone, horizon/zone. And using the verb splash to describe sunshine is so well-placed. Nice job!
