Spotlight Poem by Kristine Roee

Spotlight

Last morning. I had the lust to get free. Wanted bad to leave this place
Late evening. Now it is just her that keeps me clear and from running away.

Her beauty shines like thousand candels in the night. Surrounded by veils
Perfection. And there I'm falling as a blink from her eye is revealed

It's getting late. The pulse is pounding. Fools around me. It's to much to take
This can not wait. It's either me or these thugs bad deeds passing on.

I don't know how or witch road I should take.
But I do know that this girl is the one for me.

The test of faith
I have to prove my self the best for the lady.

In the rain she blooms.
In the rain she blooms.

First morning. Now starts the rest of my life. Never want to leave this place.
Like dreaming. Her hair! So appealing as it's falling down her face in the rain.

Every night I want to be the one beside her. Every time!
Stars ignite and gives her guidens to her place in the spotlight

Up, Up, Up, Up, Up goes the hearthbeat. Real relief.
Down, Down, Down, Straight down when the ground leaves. Rolling on.

Every night I want to be the one beside her. Every time!
Stars ignite and gives her guidens to her place in the spotlight
