Sprawled Evening Poem by David N. Munene

Sprawled Evening

Burning shoes
Scorching coats
Stiff muscles
Lips- oats

Large bowels groan
Small bellies moan
Like elastoplast torn
From skin newborn

Traffic sandwiched to home
Walking on streets - gnome
Forests confused - my dome
Sprawled evening - the epitome
