Spreading Smiles Poem by Anika dang

Spreading Smiles

One day I thought
Let's be more happy
I walked down the lane
Got loaded with diamonds
And some sapphires
Then i got some precious attires
Still no contentment
So it was new technology hired
Oh!
Delighted I was
With freshness of belongings
The crisp of all got on head profounding
But,
What's wrong now?
Why are these bestoying no pleasure
No more excitement of acquiring treasure
Now I want some more new affairs
To get back all joy of ware
Never ever it stays for long
So I thought the path was wrong
I saw a weary child on street
Went to him to give some greet
My heart got filled with affection
The warmth of it gave me new direction
Asked him his all unfulfilled desires
That he always wished to acquire
There he was a with big smile on face
The twinkling eyes had set it's pace
A weird fulfillment I got that day
Which had no expiry and no grey
Greedy me now wanted more
Strange feeling in me to pour
Now I had a conflict in me
Which way to choose to be free
Took a beam balance
Kept all my asserts on one
And a beautiful smile of child on another
Stunned I was
A single smile baffled all the physical
That for me was a miracle
Here I was With the verdict
Vowed to spend my every bit
I have the key to eternal bliss
Now Spreading smiles is no easy to resist
