Spring Poem by Unfortunate Fellow

Spring

I watched as the snow melted and spring rose.
I still miss you even though it was years ago.
I would sell my soul just for another day with you.
Hunny, I know you've moved on
with another man
in another home.
Even after all the harm you've done, I feel stupid for wanting you.
I can't help but love you, hun.
Every time I think of moving all
All I can do is the happy things we've done.
Though there were more bad than good, I miss you.
I lay on the warm spring grass as the bees and butterflies fly by.
Though today is so pretty, I can only think of you.
I can't help but think of your silky hair and
Your soft, heavenly skin that once held me.
Your hypnotizing dark eyes that drew me in in no time.
Though every day we were together,
you raised hell,
those nights you'd show me you loved me as well.
I wish I didn't miss you.
You were my blizzard-filled winter; now I'm ready for the sun.
Goodbye winter, hello spring.
