Spring - Poem by Maihoua Xiong

As spring comes,
the plants and trees stood up straight
to greet the warm sun
from its vacation south,
and goodbye to the cool wind of the north,
and welcome back the warm wind of the south.
As spring comes,
the plants and tree stood up straight
to greet the new life of springtime
