Spring Enchantments Poem by Marilyn Lott

Spring Enchantments

Rating: 5.0

As soon as I step outside my front door
I see them and I have to smile
My beautiful flowers beckon me
To visit them for a little while.

My Bleeding heart is so perfect
My Euphorbia bright with glow
My Forget-me-nots tiny blue
Begs me to please not go.

My Primroses still produce for me
Though its favorite weather is gone
Pansies with their cute little smiles
Send their message loud and strong.

"LOOK AT ME, " they all like to say
Oh yes, I talk to them every day
Some still have not got buds
But they aren't too far away.

Then there are my Cora Bells
If you know me, you know this
That they truly make me smile
I could give them all a hug and kiss.

I could go on and on about them
I planted them and loved them since
My flowers are now and always will be
Truly my spring enchantments!
