Spring Reborn
She raises
Her dark brown arms
And gazes around to see -
Blankets of white
Disappearing,
Buzzy bumbles clustered
Where the rainbow charms
Are sprouting.
She hears
Deafening squeals
And feels
Geysers exploding,
As togs plunge
Into her tears
Of joy.
She woke
Her luminous friend
To keep an eye on things
And expel all
Foggy thoughts
To free the life of spring.
