Sprout Poem by Varala Anand

Sprout

In isolation
My head shrivels
And heart shrinks
Eyes in meekness
Behold the world
Multifariously

Heart reaches
An unknown experience
Either of ecstasy or agony
An absurd form
Neither of solid nor liquid
A transparent state
Neither of Luminous nor darkness

Just then,
A seed sprouts
Sprout turns to bud
Blooms like a flower
Its fragrance
Blossoms as poetry
Anywhere and anytime
Isolation fetches creativity
And spreads universally

Sprout
