Square Zero Poem by Shellise Goulbourne

Square Zero

Rating: 4.0

A bond like no other.
Tighter then a corset
And stronger then my mother.
We're frozen together even though
There's a fire from our desire.
There's something about it...Something..
There's gotta be something about it.
Our Love
I dont know if its you...
If its me....
If its us...together or what.
I knew I always wanted a love like this
A love where in my heart I felt a shift
The shift of love
A love where I knew the bolt out of my rollercoaster was found
Where I knew that when I wanted to move forward
My heart wouldn't die from the mysterious fall through the crack
Into the empty, pitless whole of misery
Misery business use to be my forte
I can't remember the darkness I was once incorporated in
It's history.
It was history.
Now i'm back to square zero
Still wondering if im wondering if your wondering if im wondering about you
Back to the place that I remember the most
The black, bleak, and murky pit of hell
Just waiting to be set on fire
Ahh my thoughts'll kill me
I swear to it
I swear I'll never live again if I ever lived at all
Up and Down
In and Out
Up and Down
In and out
Down and Up
Out and In again
No...no..not again

Can feel the frustration and desperation here. Well done.
