St. Lewis Cardinals Poem by Marilyn Lott

We hopped aboard our tour bus
You’ll never guess where we went
We went to the Busch stadium
Where a great afternoon was spent

We sat right in the dugout
Felt so important and so fine
Breathed the air the players breathed
And it was simply an amazing time

The wearing of the red of course
Put us right into the folds
Saw the Cardinal Mascot
A wonderful sight to behold

We visited the Cardinal Club
Saw all the important sights
And after our lunch we headed
Home before the dark of night!
