Stab Or Be Stabbed Poem by Muhammad Rayan Dar

Stab Or Be Stabbed

The photons of betrayal blaze with fiery might,
As I summon tempests with hands raised high.
Toward an inevitable farewell, my heart takes flight,
Perpetual contemplations shattered, as time draws nigh.
Father Time, a spectral figure, extends his hand,
Beckoning me toward a dagger, gleaming in the gloom.
'Stab or be stabbed, ' his gentle whisper fans,
Then he fades, consumed by his eternal tomb.
The plethora of lies emerges, a venomous swarm,
I smile, baring teeth, at the facade they've spun.
Bloodshot eyes, ablaze with an infernal storm,
Intimidate my smile, as I see through what they've done.
Their naive tactics, like feeble ripples in the deep,
Cannot withstand the weight of my discerning mind.
My ego, a prowling beast, awakens from sleep,
Invading my flesh, a wicked grin I find.
Their convoluted words, a labyrinthine maze,
Unravel into their primal forms, stripped bare.
Their endeavors to rob my solitude, ablaze,
Vaporize into nothingness, dissipated in the air.
I seize the dagger, knuckles white, grip unyielding,
Ready to pierce the darkness, embrace the pain.
In this dance of shadows, fate's hand revealing,
To stab or be stabbed, the pact we must sustain
