It's in the bright light
The music and the eyes
Being anything for that night
Thrilling our hearts

Beating faster, it's delight
Adrenaline shines through us
We shine through the words we recite
Competitive and proud
For the first time in months
Being alright

Dressing rooms glowing so bright
Lights, laughter, costumes and makeup
Clapping with so much might
Flowers flooding in
The drama offstage, we put up a fight
We feel alive
Our souls ignite
