Stalked By The Sight Of You Poem by Elowren Gray

Stalked By The Sight Of You

Ghosts, haunting and daunting every corner I pass.
Finding my way through,
this big maze with what i think is
you.

Cursed with this chest seizing
panic, flowing bounding me alight
with every step,
i take, ghosts
ghost, haunting and so ever daunting,
flaunting the ghost of you.

The ghost from my mind, now embodies reality
my mind, wanting
ill never know.
Why,

ghost, haunting and taunting my every move,
Only used to the ones galavanting in my bed,
Exporting in my slumber,
distorting my truth and salting my wounds.

yearning, evermore so that before.

My muse for this poem is based on my on experiences with having to let someone go, learning to live with all the emotions and haunting that comes and goes with healing and trying to let go.
