Standing Firm Poem by BOEMS BY JA WIZDUMBs BY JA

Standing Firm

It may have been callous
But, I once took Cialis
Just to see, how hard it would be

The pill went down well
And it started to swell
So I surely was, happy

At first it was great
For me and my mate
As we watched it grow, with glee

But then, it took a turn
And we both, lost the yearn
As it, with us, didn't agree

It stayed real firm
Which made me squirm
As this, I did not foresee

So what I had done
Had now become
Something totally, scary

It wouldn't go down
Just stayed uptown
It's not, what I expected to see

My mate didn't stay
She just ran away
And listened not, to my plea

I was left all alone
Just me and my bone
I knew not, how this could be

I did what I could
But for hours it stood
Until at last, I had to pee

So my stupid idea
Was no panacea
And thus, it backfired on me
