Standing Ovation Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Standing Ovation

You will all be gone soon
Your final breath
Before your death
Seeps into a hazed lagoon

Better to have left a mark
For common good
As humans should
It only takes a spark

Virtue carries on your name
In a spirit
Forces merit
So others may do the same.
