Standing six feet away,
his gaze traced her.
Crazed why it's this way,
he spoke about her.
Standing six feet away
with hearts nearly melded,
she wanted them to drift away
into a world where its just them.
His memories were jolted
and all their heavenly times flashed.
His heart bolted
with times they friendly clashed.
Both were smitten
when their eyes met.
But were frightened
that's all they'd get.
For, eyes still on her
standing six feet away,
he spoke about her.
Not the one in front of him
But the other who'd be with him
forever.
