Stare Poem by empty shell

Stare

Rating: 4.0

Staring at you
Not glance
Not look
Observe intently, stare
#Stare
I see all of you at once
The sum of your parts
A body ballet
That's what I see but that's just me
Most people,
Gaze upon your face
I have eyes, I see why
Some people,
Check out your body
I am a man, I know why
I study your movements
Admire your form.
Stare
My blood runs through your heart
I see through your eyes
We are one
I feel your muscles tensing
As your ligaments stretch
Hear your shoulder pop
As you reach for the heavens
See your spine straightening
As your toes start tippy-toeing
Stare
Your hair blows in the clouds
With eyes lost in the skies
You touch the stars
My heart
I stare
I love
