In the early morning light
Uncurling from a deep sleep
Stretching its petals all dipped with dew
The flower awakens, bursting into life
Dazzlingly colourful, majestic, radiant
Blossom flaunting
The slender stem sways too and fro
Its hypnotic scent, the sweetest fragrance
Soaking in the sunlight
The flowers beauty breathtaking
A star of pink fire
Now forever a lasting memory in my heart
The gorgeous stargazer lily
