Stars Of Her Poem by W.E Graham

Stars Of Her

The night is made bright by stars on it's ceiling,
‎And the human soul is kindled by the lamp of another human soul,
‎You have found roses under my cypresses,
‎And pearls beneath my darkness.

‎You are like the stars in my night,
‎And sunshine in my day,
‎Verses such as these are free in form,
‎When a poet writes from his heart and not from his mind.

"I hold your hand like the first time,
I love you and all that you are,
And when I think of us,
It is absurd not to believe in eternity".
