Status Quo No Mo Poem by kwane Lamb

Status Quo No Mo

Woman we arrived here simultaneously…
Then the sifter…
In my glory you became a silhouette…
To this day reverberates…my regret…
You are my missing perfume…
My reason for howling at the moon…
Your beauty was never neglected…
But you as my equal…what the hack! …
Your body not your soul had gold…
Not goal…
Either could be sold…that was bold…
You are coming into your own…
Feeling you need to roam…
That hump on your back…is not your butt…
But wings sprouting…
No more, little girl talk…outings…
Time for real talk.
Well! All that extreme accomplished love…
Advice…sounded so very nice…
I thought about it twice…
I need sexual awakening…
I will not be rejected…
Nor do I need to be protected…
I was sifted from thee… to be free…
The latter works for me…
There is no Cherry-tree…
This world is your oyster…(no goal)
I wish to see outside this box…
Run alone side a comet or two…
And you are no silhouette…
You have awaken my inner do's and don'ts…
Awoke in me pleasures that assure me…
That I have more…
So I welcome you…come with me…
Hand-in-hand…let us ride the comet…
Together…or not…
I…am leaving…and I will return.
