Stay Inside Poem by Jessica Stubbs

Stay Inside

Rating: 5.0

And everything is so dull
You have to pull
To get outside of yourself
You’re never in the present
People don’t like that you’re far away
And you don’t really like to stay
Too much work
Too much pressure
It’s easier to stay away
In bed
In your head
Snooze and dream
It’s okay
It feels better this way
