Still, Desire Poem by Rosette Chisholm

Still, Desire

14 years,2 months,30 days,18 hours and 15 minutes and still desire
I feel-
Your eyes
your teeth
your walk
the way you tilt your head and smile
Still -
Should we make something of
It nothing of
It
Still
Sends shivers down my being deep inside my gut
Still desire
Like a melody that lingers without aging
Like it was just yesterday
We met
Remember the floor, the shoes, the group, the journeys- the lift (elevator) , the talk, the poetry, the...
Remember?

Paths changed, taken different ways
Life
We live, we love, we try, we bury...yet,
Still
A voice, a whisper, a picture, the memory
Then...again
14 years,2 months,30 days,18 hours,15 minutes and still, love.
