Still Dream Poem by Andy Wood

Still Dream

They're dying all around me and I don't care.
I'm glad that I am still here and they're gone there for
If it's not cause and effect then it's fate.
In any case it's getting too late and
I hope I don't seem callous as you read this.
I'm writing to inform you how it is, sis -
There's no room for regrets in this here and now.
You do or die and that's the way how
We survived this far.
You still dream of a distant star
Despite your apparent display of mettle.
