Still Is Poem by Carolyn Sears

Still Is

You were the apple of my eye

You were as sweet as my cherry
Lollipop

You smelled of red roses and cherry
Wine

You could not be denied

You were the apple of my apple
Eye

You written our heart’s on a tree

In fact the tree was a magnolia
Planted in my front yard

With blooms in full blossoms

With the sweetest scent you

Could ever find

Our love was tattoo within this
Heart

Burnt upon this magnolia tree

That stand so strong

And holds our love for now and
For evermore

Our love, our hearts, our soul, our
Spirit is here to stay as one..

You were the apple of my eye

Was than

And still is...
