Still Trying
I’d like to say that I’m done crying
But if I did I would just be lying
Truth be told, yes I’m still dying
Dreams left unlived there’s no denying
Get so close, just quit trying
This hole inside has me crying
What’s the point, no use lying
Without you, I lay here dying
Can’t hide the pain I’ve been denying
Not even close…but still I’m trying
