The day i saw your writing,
The letter you sent to me,
The words you wrote,
That carried me through the battle!

The day i saw your smile,
The way your face was radiant,
The joy that was streaming out of your soul,
That brought me to you!

The day i saw the rose,
The beautiful, enchanting flower on you,
The hope that soared into my soul,
That assured me you were mine!

The wait wasn't waiting,
The days and nights spent with you in my heart,
The love that was growing, precious and priceless,
It was all worth it!

It's time,
Your eyes still say to me,
Let's grow old together!
