Stillness Poem by AngelLucianna Vesna

Stillness

Rating: 4.5

Perhaps Stillness is not a bad thing...
And Coldness is alike to one’s essence at presence...

Everything is white – as Snow...
But it actually is! ? It is! ...this I am certain...

Pure, Soft, Untainted, Non-polluted, Natural, Malleable

What does my soul seek?
What is its yearning for?
Where is its course?

It is as still and silent as the new snow on the tree top,
...it just seems to be distant, muted, lifeless...
Frozen...within all life around...

It remains taciturn and time no longer matters...
For as long as it is cold...The snow on the tree top
Can stay as high and far on high...

Soundless, motionless, and forever sensing the
Tranquillity and peacefulness......of this halt and chill
In this time and space..
Far and away ...
Believing...
Perhaps Stillness is not such a bad thing...
And Stillness is all I yearn for...
Forever more...
