Sting Of Rejection
Today has uncovered
A tangled web of lies
Cheating and deceit
Has shaken my world
From beneath my feet
A judgemental attitude
Now casts a shadow
Twisting my perceptions
Rudely awakened
By twisted circumstances
A sense of dread
Some kind of test?
I need to waken up
Before it's too late
Feeling the sting of rejection
I'm left in the shade
