Stitch Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Stitch

Stitch that stubborn baby breath
To my warm chest, where it belongs
Your tired head yet fragrant hair
Makes me shiver; I blush a little
Your round eyes mesmerize me
I hope they would always belong
To me, like what you promised
I’d love to stare at you forever
But I’d rather look after you
Until you turn hopeless and grey
