Stolen Poem by Tim Olson

Stolen

For your laugh,
For your smile,
I will always go
The extra mile.
For the angel,
From above,
The one that stole
My heart, my love.

Like the sun,
Lights the skies,
You light my life,
Those burning eyes.
Wish you could fly,
Like a dove,
The one that stole
My heart, my love.

I meet your gaze,
I see your face,
I thank God,
For His loving grace.
To hold your hand,
Tight as a glove,
The one that stole
My heart, my love.

When I'm near,
God's greatest creation,
I thank Him for,
His great salvation.
You're beautiful,
The kind there's only one of,
The one that stole
My heart, my love.

The not knowing,
Causes frustration,
Not for sure,
If it's just fixation.
Your life, I long
To be part of,
The one that stole
My heart, my love.

The presence of this love,
Without good reason,
Wish my happiness, too,
Could be in season.
To go too far,
I'd need no shove,
The one that stole
My heart, my love.

The way I feel,
This is an illness.
It causes silence,
It causes stillness.
I know the gift,
Came from above,
The one that stole
My heart, my love.

This love,
Never again,
Never before,
This love,
You are my heart,
Mi amor.
