Stolen Breath Poem by Jude Fuhnwi

Stolen Breath

Rating: 5.0

Oh no! see how that bullet turns up
And, did life just depart her without hiccup! ?
Ick! I'm troubled by that pain on her face
But, how was she a menace! ?

Jeez! This death scares me to death! !
To see them deprive her of breath
Howdy grief! That reduces me to tears
Woe is me; this episode of my life is called fear.

At five her life is cruelly stolen
I'd think I'm on a dose of hallucinogen
But hell no! It's all real and open.

Hélas! We'll get another false rendition
Like always, from the obscenely mighty
Who'll natter to thwart the faithful version;
Because not every mighty is the Mighty.

Such a powerful, very well articulated poem with a perfection depiction of the painful experiences of war and the ill-fate of leaders to resolve arm conflicts and save lives. This Poet is highly underrated. Congrats Sir
