I don't live my life in the bankrupt currency of dollar bills
Laid on the table of fortunes won or lost
All or nothing, so extreme
Great monuments of towering egos
Where Kings and Queens prance
In the falling night of disjointed stars
Too late
We wonder how fairy dust turns
The twisted time into moonlight fantasy
And what was missed in a twilight kiss
Comes back to haunt the dreams
Of those caught living in Death's
Cold unfeeling grasp
Believing somehow in something made
Of nothing.
