Stone Wall Poem by Bekah Tav.

Stone Wall

I don’t hear a word you say.
I don’t believe that I’ll be okay.
Too soon I will fall apart,
Is it even worth the trouble
Of fixing my heart.
I’m broken.
And there’s no tape strong enough,
I’m torn open.
No staple that could hold enough.
I am dropping apart,
And there’s no one to catch me,
I am crumbling down,
And there’s no one to
Mend me.
I am all alone here.
And there’s so much to do,
I am sitting down here,
Against the cold stone
Wall.
that’s all I have now,
This wall.
It has built up now,
It is ten feet tall,
No one can get to me, now.
How will I ever get out?
I’m surrounded.
There’s no rope that’s
Strong enough
To pull me out,
There’s no ladder high enough
For me to climb out.
I don’t have the strength
Enough to jump when
You say go.
I’m a lost cause,
Just go.
You say you can help,
I say no.
Just leave me here,
I’ll join the stone,
The stone wall,
That has grown..
Its too tall
For anyone to save me.
Its too big for you to
Break through.
Its too safe,
Not sure I want to leave it.
Its too secure,
It has become my haven.
I’ll just stay here,
For a while.
Just let me stay here,
One more mile.
You cant help me,
You cant see.
You will never
Be able
To save me.
