Stones Poem by Troy Cochran

Stones

Don't look to others for your worth.
Most of them were dead
before your birth.

Stand apart. Be gentle with your heart.
It beats for you alone, the others have their own.
But if you must,

To satisfy their lust,
give them all a kidney stone
instead.
