Stop Poem by Elizabeth Muller

Stop

I thought my heart could take it
That you wouldn't go and break it
But your mind was over loaded
You should have gone and shown it

You changed after you left me there
In the middle of no where
Expecting I'd come running back
I was in no mood to attack

How could I fight for you?
When I had no clue
It's a blind match to me
You only see what you want to see

You guilt me into believing
All your mind games are so deceiving
You talk to me like I'm less than you
I wish the fights were so few

Your logic is unchangeable
Nothing about you is rearrangeable
You're so stuck in your own ways
The advice I give never stays

For you there’s no room for change
I can’t reach you, you’re out of range
I wish that I could stay
But I’m sorry, you’ve pushed me away
